Reliance Jio Launches JioTag Air: Price, Features, Other Details
Reliance Jio has launched a new tracking device called the JioTag Air. It is the successor to last year’s JioTag and comes with a host of new features. US IT company Intuit to lay off 1,800 employees: Read CEO’s open letter to employees
US-based IT company Intuit is cutting around 1,800 jobs. In an open letter to employees, CEO Sasan Gudarji said the cuts will affect 10% of the workforce. He said the cuts are not aimed at cutting costs and that the company plans to rehire the same number of employees, primarily in engineering, product and sales. You can read the CEO’s letter here.
Apple warns Indian iPhone users of ‘mercenary spyware attacks’
Apple has issued a warning to some iPhone users in India and 97 other countries about a possible “mercenary spyware attack” that could put their devices at risk. This is the tech giant’s second notification campaign this year, following a similar warning sent to users in 92 countries in April. Read more here.

Microsoft has unveiled its latest Windows PCs, Copilott PCs, which are available for pre-order in India. Infosys Vice President Hemant Lamba resigns
Infosys has lost a top-level executive. In a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said that Hemant Lamba, executive vice president and global head of strategic sales, has resigned from the company. Lamba, who lives in the UK, has been with Infosys for over seven years. He joined the company in December 2016 as SVP and global head of large deals and strategic sales. In his resignation letter, he said:
