Filipinos can avail visa services for the 10 Schengen countries at the Joint Visa Application Centre in Makati City.

MANILA, Philippines – Planning to visit Europe soon? You can now apply for your Schengen visa at VFS Global’s newly opened Joint Visa Application Centre in Makati City.

The relocated Joint Visa Application Center will allow Filipinos to access visa services for 10 Schengen countries, including Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

All VFS Global Schengen Visa Application Centres have relocated to the sixth floor of Makati Circuit Corporate Centre Tower 2 along Theatre Drive in Makati City.

Interested applicants can first book and apply online through the VFS Global website.

“We are pleased to offer an enhanced experience to Schengen visa applicants in Manila and the surrounding areas through this newly relocated, state-of-the-art Visa Application Center. Applying for a visa is one of the first steps in any international trip, and we want to make your visa application process smooth and convenient. [travelers]”Kaushik Ghosh, regional head of Australasia for VFS Global, said in a recent press release.

In addition to our regular visa application services, applicants can also avail of additional services when applying for a visa for a particular country. The additional services are:

You can apply for a visa and submit your biometric details from home or your workplace. You can apply for a visa over weekends and outside working hours. You can submit your visa application from a premium lounge. You can receive SMS updates on the status of your visa application. Your passport and documents will be delivered directly to you. You can get staff support in completing your visa application over the phone or on-site. Along with your visa, you can purchase medical travel insurance, including COVID-19 cover, from a global insurer.

However, VFS Global states that opting for these services does not guarantee that your visa application will be approved.

VFS Global is recognized as one of the largest visa outsourcing and technology specialist companies in the world, serving 3,450 application centres across 151 countries.

Its previous Metro Manila office was located on the first and mezzanine floors of the Eco Plaza Building along Chino Roces Avenue Extension in Makati City. – Rappler.com
