How attractive are phone chargers, really? The answer is: very attractive.
I’ve been testing three wireless chargers from Anker, one of the biggest makers of iPhone accessories.

And unlike many other gadgets I’ve tested, I still use it after I need it for work. Best product ever.
These are all part of Anker’s MagGo series, which utilizes Apple MagSafe technology.
If you bought an iPhone within the last few years, there’s a very good chance it came with MagSafe charging.
As Apple explains, “MagSafe chargers and battery packs snap into the back of your iPhone or into a MagSafe case or sleeve. Magnets ensure proper alignment for fast wireless charging.”
The great thing about these three accessories is that they’re designed for the most die-hard Apple fans, so having a few of the company’s gadgets will make your time even more enjoyable.
iPhone Charging Accessory #1 – Anker MagGo Wireless Charging Station (3-in-1 Pad)
First up, the 3-in-1 MagGo Pad, a product I keep on my nightstand (or bedside table if you’re reading this in the UK).
Not only can you charge your iPhone, but you can also charge your Apple AirPods and Apple Watch at the same time.
Gone are the messy bundles of cables that were necessary with an arsenal of these gadgets.
Now I have a nice pad that doesn’t make my wife mad and doesn’t make me trip over it when I’m rubbing my sleepy eyes to go to the bathroom at 3am.
The nice thing about this charger (and in fact all three of these chargers) is that it supports standby mode.
We predicted Apple’s smartphone release dates last year, and now we’re guessing when the iPhone 16 and its free iOS update will be released.
This is a setting that’s active when your iPhone is charging and held in landscape orientation.
As Apple explains, “StandBy lets you turn your iPhone into a bedside clock, photo frame, full-screen display with widgets and Live Activities, and more.”
It’s a great way to keep a clock on your nightstand and charge your iPhone at the same time.

iPhone Charging Accessory #2 – Anker MagGo Wireless Charging Station (Foldable 3-in-1)
But wait, it gets even better.
The first charger was quite large, so it’s only suitable if you have a little space.

If you want something a little more mobile, there’s the Foldable 3-in-1 instead.
It’s a foldable pad that’s smaller than an iPhone (but about 2.5 times thicker).
It also supports iPhone charging via MagSafe when folded (including standby mode) and can power your AirPods when flat.
Additionally, you can also pop out a third pad from the bottom to charge your Apple Watch.

I use this at work because it moves easily from my desk to the conference room, and it’s great for traveling too.

iPhone Charging Accessory #3 – Anker MagGo Power Bank (10k)
Cool, right? Now take a look at this.

What if you want to charge it but don’t have anywhere to plug it in? Anker has made a power bank version with a built-in 10,000mAh battery.
The downside to this model is that it can only charge one device at a time, either your iPhone or your AirPods.
iPhone standby is supported, though (thanks to a little kickstand).
It also attaches magnetically to the back of the device, just like a battery pack.

This is perfect to carry in your backpack and can serve as an emergency power source when you’re far from a power outlet.
There’s also a small portable display on the side that shows information such as how much charge is left.
