Quotezone’s travel insurance experts analysed the data to create the 2024 European Budget Holiday Index, revealing the most affordable city breaks across the continent.
They looked at 12 of Europe’s most visited capitals, including Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Rome, to find out which destinations are the most popular.
Cities were ranked based on several factors, including tourist taxes, hotel prices, food and beer prices, public transport ticket prices and distance from the airport.
