International. The Moodie Davitt Report has partnered with retail technology specialist and analytics firm tRetail Labs to release the third of seven comprehensive airport food and beverage market intelligence reports.
This series of reports indicates that the market size estimate for the airport F&B industry global revenue is between US$39 billion and US$45 billion. The latest report, “The Europe Report”, values sales in the regional market at US$11.2 billion, with the restaurant sector being the distinct leader in revenue due to high average spend across Europe.
The Europe report provides an in-depth look at the various food and beverage categories and formats that make up an airport’s F&B business, including restaurants, bars, cafes, fast food outlets, etc. The report highlights spend by category and the market-leading airports in the European region.
We also looked into the cuisines offered in each category and the most popular brands. All of this insight was achieved by overlaying traveler perspectives to identify their preferred choices and sentiment around experiences within each dining category.
The 85-page Europe report brings together situational, revenue and consumer data sets to provide a three-dimensional view that identifies new growth opportunities for the industry and offers actionable recommendations, all backed by solid data.
The Oceania report will be published later this month, followed by reports for the Middle East and North Africa, Africa and South America. In total, the series covers more than 350 airports, 17,000 F&B establishments and more than 137 million data points.
Special bundle pricing is available when you purchase three or more reporting licenses.
Enterprise pricing is also available if you purchase multiple reporting licenses.
