In a press release, Anastacia said about the tour, “I’m so excited to be on the road again in Europe and happy to be playing so many amazing venues for my special fans. This feels even more special because I wasn’t able to tour for my first album. I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since Not That Kind and I’m celebrating in true Anastacia fashion – it’s going to be a big anniversary party and I can’t wait to see you all there!”
Their debut LP, Not That Kind, was released on 16 June 2000 and reached number two on the UK Albums Chart, as well as reaching the top five in most countries across Europe and Oceania, including Australia and Germany, and also topped the charts in New Zealand and Norway.
The album’s lead single, “I’m Outta Love”, was a huge hit in Europe and Australia, reaching number one in Wallonia, Australia and New Zealand, where it became the most successful song of 2000. It also reached the top five in many other countries, including France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
