Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour is back and bigger than ever, kicking off the European leg in Paris on Thursday night.
The concert marked Swift’s first live performance since the release of her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which added 31 songs to her repertoire, and while fans expected some changes to the “Eras” setlist, they weren’t necessarily expecting anything new when it came to her onstage look.
Swift kept the show opener focused on her “Lover” era, but for her set, she debuted her fifth version of a sequined and beaded Versace bodysuit. The latest version featured a gradient effect of fiery orange and deep purple, which she paired with new Christian Louboutin knee-high boots in the same warm colors. For “The Man,” she covered the bodysuit with a sparkling orange blazer by Versace.

Moving into the “Fearless” section, Swift changed out of her Roberto Cavalli outfit for a Naeem Khan beaded fringe minidress from the brand’s Resort 2024 collection. While the 2009 dress Swift is referring to was designed by Cavalli, fans online overwhelmingly agreed that Naeem Khan’s version looked more similar to her original tour outfit, making it an instant favorite. Swift also wore new custom black Christian Louboutin Kate boots to match.

During the “Red” set, Swift wore her usual Ashish white sequined T-shirt, but this time it had a new phrase printed on it: “This ain’t Taylor’s version.” It wasn’t a direct lyric reference like her previous “Red”-era shirts. As you can imagine, fans were trying to decipher the phrase for any Easter eggs.

Unfortunately, Swift cut the “Speak Now” portion of the show to just one song, but as a consolation, she pulled out a new Reem Acra dress for the crowd to see: a faded lilac dress with an all-over gold sequin and rhinestone bow pattern, again a direct reference to an earlier look, this time from her 2011 “Speak Now” tour.
Keeping her “Reputation” catsuit intact (the only outfit she’s worn to any show), Swift changed into a bright yellow version of her usual Alberta Ferretti gown for the newly paired “Folklore” and “Evermore” set.

And for “1989,” she debuted an entirely new outfit: Instead of the Roberto Cavalli fringe bra and miniskirt she’d previously unveiled, Swift wore a hot pink halterneck bra and a turquoise gradient skater skirt, paired with pink and blue Christian Louboutin ankle boots. (The skater skirt was a closet staple circa 2014, when the album came out.)

The most exciting and anticipated moment of the night was the reveal of the setlist for “The Tortured Poets Department,” which included seven songs and, of course, some new outfits. This time, Swift and stylist Joseph Cassel commissioned Vivienne Westwood to create outfits for the era. The brand created several pieces, including a white corseted high-low dress (similar to the one she wore in her “Fortnight” music video) and a military jacket fit for a leader. For accessories, she accessorized with Westwood’s signature triple-strand choker with the Orb logo and white ankle boots by Christian Louboutin.

Towards the end of her set, Swift teamed a sparkly black bra top and briefs with a metallic gold tailcoat.
Then, for a surprise two songs, she donned a new Barbie pink loose dress, and finally, she closed the show with her “Midnights” era.

Swift also updated the bodysuit, with a new version by Zuhair Murad featuring a halter neck and beaded fringe at the hips.
