Vanishing Bombs allow players to disappear to escape threats or ambush enemies, making them essential for Light builds to win gunfights. Stun Guns neutralize enemies, especially Mediums and Heavies, making them perfect for a Light run-and-gun style of play. Gateways allow for teleportation, making them essential for Light survival, team movement, and strategic play.
While the list of best light gadgets in Final Season 3 will vary from player to player, there are a few that always make an appearance in both active and reserve loadouts. Embark Studios’ FPS title is one of the newest titles on the market, and its chaotic action has many gamers preferring light builds over medium and heavy builds. This choice allows for greater agility and makes the action much faster-paced, so it’s essential that your chosen loadout supports this playstyle rather than hindering it.
Before we think about the best gadgets for a light build in Final Season 3, it is important to know which gadgets are available to choose from. There are a total of 15 gadgets that players can ultimately choose from, but only 6 are available from the start. The gadgets unlocked by default include Breach Charge, Goo Grenade, Flashbang, Smoke Grenade, Pyro Grenade, and Frag Grenade. To unlock the remaining gadgets, players will need to spend 1000 VR, which may take some time if you are not a dedicated player of the game. In this list, we will discuss the best gadgets for the best light build in Final Season 3.

Beat the competition in the finals with three heavy builds that utilize all the best features in this class.
Updated June 21, 2024 by Amjad A. Asma: The list of best light gadgets in The Finals Season 3 has a new item added – the Thermal Boa. It’s not a first choice by any means, but it can be effective if used properly. The Thermal Boa is not the only new weapon the class has acquired. There is also a new weapon – the Recurve Bow. This bow and the new gadget were added in The Finals Season 3 and although it is not very popular, it is being used quite a bit at the moment. Apart from these, the Stun Gun and Sonar Grenade have also been buffed.
Final Season 3 has a feudal Japan theme, especially highlighted by the new Kyoto 1568 map. The map has terrain variety and new buildings, making the Light class job more thrilling and dangerous. Additionally, the Heavy class has received a new weapon, the spear, and a new specialization, the Winch Claw. The Winch Claw has a dominant role in the meta, with many players using it to pull in and take down enemies. This makes it important to check out our list of the best Light gadgets in Final Season 3, as Light mains are struggling more than ever before.
7. Thermal Vision
Find out where everyone comes from
Thermal Vision is an important light gadget in The Finals Season 3, especially on the Kyoto 1568 map. This special item allows light players to see all contestants and objects, so they can call out enemy positions and warn their team in advance. Sonar grenades are useful here, but their limited range of 12 meters can make things a bit complicated. Thermal Vision is a light gadget that allows you to see very far, and even find where enemy snipers are hiding in important cases. In Kyoto 1568, this gadget allows players to go through the thick foliage and see where the enemy is coming from. In addition, it allows you to see through cloaked enemy light builds, which can have a huge impact on the field, especially in the Terminal Attack mode of The Finals.
The reason why Thermal Vision is one of the best light gadgets in Final Season 3 is that it allows players to use agility-based specializations even while equipped. Although it slows down movement speed a bit, things like the grappling hook still work as intended. Using it allows you to quickly gain advantageous positions and call out enemy positions.
6 Frag Grenade
Great gadget that deals instant damage
The Frag Grenade is a staple. It can be used in every build and has easily earned its place as one of the best light gadgets in Final Season 3. It does 149 total damage compared to the Pyro Grenade’s 120 damage, but it does have a slightly longer cooldown of 20 seconds. However, the fact that it can easily destroy turrets, motion sensors, and other items is a big plus for this grenade.

Cross-play will significantly widen the matchmaking pool for The Finals, but there are a few things players should know.
It is important to note that frag grenades do not damage building structures, for which players must use breach charges or gas cylinders. Still, frag grenades can deal a fair amount of damage instantly, making them potentially useful many times.
5 Gas Grenades
Creates a cloud of toxic gas that steadily deals heavy damage to enemies.
Gas grenades release a cloud of green gas that offers three attack modes: blinding vision, dealing high damage, and being highly flammable. A simple pyro grenade or even a gas canister will cause a big explosion. It was decent when the game was released, but its stats were adjusted in The Finals Season 2. The gas is released with a 0.5 second delay, but the damage starts at 30 HP/s and increases to 60 HP/s over 2 seconds. This can deal a lot of damage when combined with blinding vision and intense gunfights.
Pyro grenades are not bad, but toxic gas does more damage and is not hindered by glue walls, barricades, or other items. Taking this into account, it is a very powerful tool when used in Power Shift mode. Since enemies will be stationed on the hovering platform while fully shielded, this tool will allow you to eliminate the hovering platform from the enemy. Combining gas grenades with explosives is highly recommended. Luckily, this mode will also be available at the start of private matches in Final Season 3.
4. Gateway
A pair of exceptional throwing weapons that create portals for anyone and anything.
The Gateway was added to the list of Light gadgets in The Finals Season 2 with the March 14 content update. It is exclusive to the Light class and is an extremely useful tool that can be used to teleport between two locations. It can be used in pairs, with the first throw determining one teleport site and the second throw placing the second entrance/exit. It follows the same throwable mechanics as other items in The Finals Season 3, allowing players to travel significant distances with this particular method.

Looking for the best weapons to use in the Light, Heavy, and Medium classes in Finals? Here’s a tier list ranking all the weapons available.
Gateway has a cooldown of 40 seconds and the portal stays open for 20 seconds. If used effectively, it will be the most useful light gadget in The Finals Season 3. Light class only has 150 HP and relies heavily on agile movement to gain an advantage in battle. Before Gateway, apart from Evasive Dash and Grappling Hook, players relied on Vanishing Bomb to escape. Now, Gateway has its own drawbacks, such as it can also be used by enemies. However, it also facilitates team movement along with The Finals Season 3 arena carryables, giving more avenues for escape and sudden attacks. It also significantly increases the distance players can travel instantly.
3 Glitch Grenades
This gadget exclusive to the Light Build can disable enemy specializations and items.
The Glitch Grenade may be the most used among players with light builds, as many content creators have said it’s one of the best light gadgets in Final Season 3. This grenade creates a disruption field that disables almost every “live” element present. This long list includes active gadgets like turrets, mines, motion sensors, and even stops enemies from using new items and specialties. This is especially effective against the Dome Shield, one of the best heavy gadgets in Final Season 3. Simply put, it forces enemies to only use guns and melee attacks for 10 seconds.
The Glitch Grenade activates after 1.8 seconds and comes with two stacks. A 20 second cooldown may seem long, but anything less would make this already broken grenade even more broken. It cannot be ignored as it can often be the difference between dying in a gunfight or actually winning the fight. So, this is definitely one of the best light gadgets in Final Season 3 and a must-have item for any light build.
2 stun guns
An excellent gadget exclusive to light builds that disrupts enemy abilities and slows down their movements.
The Stun Gun is a very effective gadget in this FPS game, especially when used against medium and heavy builds. It is used a lot in the current meta because it slows down movement significantly and prevents enemies from using gadgets for 5 seconds, as well as specializations. It is very useful for the run-and-gun playstyle of light builds, especially as a limited edition, making it one of the best light gadgets in Final Season 3.
Related Finals: Best Medium Build
Take advantage of the wide variety of guns and gear in the medium class to create the perfect build to support your teammates in the Finals.
However, the Stun Gun does have some downsides. Its single charge and 15 second cooldown is a bit limiting and can backfire if the player isn’t in close range. That said, it’s still a solid weapon to have, even with the skill cap and limitations. It’s extremely useful for blocking healing beams or luring around Heavies with RPGs. With the addition of a Winch Claw to pull enemies towards you, the Heavy class now has a good strategy to take them out first with the Stun Gun.
1 Vanishing Bomb
A light-only gadget that can make the player invisible
One of the best light gadgets in Final Season 3, Vanishing Bomb makes players and allies in the explosion radius “disappear” for 5 seconds. Many people think that this gadget is not worth getting because the Cloaking Device specialization also makes them invisible and has a long duration of 12 seconds. While the specialization is great, the combination of Evasive Dash and Vanishing Bomb is even more effective overall. Additionally, Evasive Dash comes with three dashes that regenerate at a moderate pace, which makes it more useful as a specialization.
One of the best light gadgets in Final Season 3, Vanishing Bomb is a great choice, especially in terms of appearance, as it creates a pink splash to alert enemies to its use. However, in most cases, moving quickly can negate this drawback. Additionally, its ability to obliterate teammates makes it even more useful, especially when allies are in danger. Considering the game’s fast-paced combat, Vanishing Bomb is essential in your Final Season 3 loadout, whether active or reserve.
